2021 Sarah's Rustic Bubbles

Different than a Méthode Traditionelle sparkling wine, this more rustic Pétillant-Naturel style produces a sparkling with more texture and body, and a smooth, yeasty nose. Lively aromatics evoke golden apple, citrus flower, and Alpine herbs. In the mouth, the wine explodes as the bubbles rush over the palate leaving a refreshing sense of stone fruit and minerality that point to the fruit’s cool climate heritage. Apricot, pear, and lemon curd play on the palate of this rustic bubbly, with a lingering brown butter and toasted almonds. The vibrancy and charm of this wine pay homage to the Anderson Valley and the Ferrington Vineyard.
