The 2020 Vineyard Select from Weir Vineyard is a complex and well-rounded Pinot Noir. The invitingly mellow yet piquant nose displays strawberry-cherry compote and exotic spice. A saline front palate moves into blackberry and forest floor with herbaceous accents in a wonderfully subtle melding of flavors. Soft and smooth, the mid-palate proffers fresh acidity with high tone flavors of pomegranate and bright Bing cherry balanced by brown sugar spice. Fresh tobacco and dried cherry lingers with strawberry in the finish.
