2015 Ella's Reserve Pinot Noir

This wine is the perfect mix of complexity and elegance. On the nose, bright young red fruits such as cherry, plum, pomegranate mingle with subtle floral notes of dusty rose. As the wine opens, a darker complex core reveals itself providing essence of plum skin and tobacco leaf. In the mouth, flavors of cherry jam, rhubarb and red currant meld with cola and cedar providing a velvety mid-palate. The heavy maritime influence on the Anderson Valley is evident in the slightly saline minerality left lingering in the finish. More delicate than the 2014, this wine continues to open up and deliver the unique character and flavors that are Ferrington.
